Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. These highly-collectible Two Towers philatelic sheets are ideal for framing 'as is'.
EACH SHEET INCLUDES a different stamp design featuring key characters and scenes from Peter Jackson’s The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King movies. Available in denominations of 40c, 80c, 90c, $1.30, $1.50, and $2.00, each sheet of 25 stamps (five rows by five columns) measures 11 x 6.1 inches; 28 x 15.5 cm and is bordered by a decorative gutter strip (selvage) which differs between the three commemorative issues. The Two Towers Stamp Sheets were only issued and marketed in New Zealand for a short time before they sold out.
Two Towers Stamp Sheets: Released in gummed sheets of 25 in six standard values of 40c, 80c, 90c, $1.30, $1.50 and $2.00 on December 4, 2002 to commemorate The Two Towers. They were only marketed in New Zealand to honour Peter Jackson’s ‘The Lord of the Ring’ film trilogy, and most sheets sold out quicker than expected. Additional gummed stamps and philatelic items featuring different designs, characters and scenes were released to coincide with ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ and ‘The Return of the King’ movies.
