A bank transfer or debit payment (also variously known as a bill payment, debit transfer or debit payment via BACS or Bank Giro Credit) can be arranged using on-line or telephone banking, or over the counter at your local bank branch. Simply let them know our bank, sort code, account number and account name - available on request. An optional payment reference can be added along with your details.
To deposit cash or cheques, simply visit the nearest branch of our bank. Cash deposits are normally credited to our account immediately; cheques may take several business days to be credited. Please retain your teller receipt - especially for cash deposits. Cheques can also be deposited by posting them direct to our bank branch.
It may take two or three days for a bank transfer or debit payment to be credited to our account, though transfers between accounts at the same bank are often credited the same business day. Online or telephone transfers done during the weekend or banking holidays will usually show up the next business day.
